OLD ART O__O
Despite of its flaws, I still like that old piece. I exactly don't know why. Its simpleness ? That VERY Tim Burton-ish style ? The pose of Jimdry (Jimèdre in French)..?
THE STORY BEHIND THIS :
Well, I drew this in 2004 and I was REALLY proud. I mean, really, REALLY proud for once... and that was incredible because that year, I had the worst depression of my life. I won't give further details, but that piece helped me a lot to believe about my future, projects, characters, etc.... Even if I'm still never satisfied of my art, I don't thing about Death like the same way I used to be.
Do you really think I've got a Grim Reaper character just because it's "COOL" and trendy ? -_- No way. "Jimdry Kartler"... damn, the concept is such a LONG story. It's no accident that I choose to have such a character.
No wonder why that project is still unfinished... but the plot is already one of my personal favorites.
